Today’s guest is Kellie Phelan.
Kellie is the founder of The Works Seattle. The Works offers DIY classes for a variety of things including cooking, canning, sewing, art classes, pumpkin carving, tarot card reading and much, much more.
But for Kellie, The Works is much more than just a classroom or a place for learning. It’s a place for connecting. It’s where people come together, and yes, they’re learning a new skill, but they’re also making friends in the process. Obviously this is resonating with people because The Works is growing by leaps and bounds.
Kellie shares her story of how The Works came to be. How it was an illness that made her realize she needed to leave a stressful job and find work that resonated with her, one in which she could create a lifestyle business.
I really do love Kellie’s positive can-do attitude and the way that she’s made the best of situations.
